Hi, my name is Emilee, and I am Coach Heather's daughter. I've taken over Water Fit Kids Swim Program! I am so excited to continue what
my mom has built and will provide a safe, structured, and fun experience for all swimmers!
With six years teaching experience, I can teach it all: beginning basics like survival back floats to endurance training for racing and everything in between. I am certified CPR/1st aid, keeping my students safe is my main focus. Fun fact: I'm currently an NCAA elite swimmer with over 12 years of competitive swim experience. I love passing on what I learn in the pool down to my students!
When I'm not in the pool, I am studying to become a speech-language pathologist. Because of this, I really value patience, encouragement, and meeting each child's needs. I understand that every child learns differently, and I do my best to create a positive and supportive environment where they can feel safe and successful.
My goal is to teach each student/swimmer how to be water safe, how to swim with proper technique but most of all, build swim confidence, while having fun!

WATER SAFETY & Program Outline:
Water Safety/Education is so important. We teach each swimmer water safety skills that are age appropriate. Yes, even our baby swimmers are taught water safety. Whether it's individual water safety techniques or water safety on how to help others, Water Fit Kids are educated on how to be SMART swimmers. We've had Water Fit Kids save lives because they knew what to do when another swimmer was in distress.
Water Fit Kids swim program operates on a passing level curriculum: which encompasses Water Safety first, then the fine points of "how to swim" next. We teach all four competitive strokes that will prepare you to join any swim team. Swimmers are taught in a heated, 25 yard pool.
Swimmers will gain endurance as they learn their swim strokes.
Endurance = Confidence= Water Fit and Water Safe Kids!
SWIM DIAPER POLICY: Double Up Buttercup!
Regardless of potty training status, pool facility requires ALL Swimmers
THREE years of age and under to wear both swim diaper AND diaper cover to help prevent "accidents" during lessons.
Water Babies: (ages 17 mos to 2 years)
Your water baby will learn to find their natural body buoyancy (floating), breathe control and for the older toddler they will learn the kick . float. kick. sequence for safety.

Little Swimmers: (Ages 3-4)
These classes teach little swimmers basic survival water skills:
back float, kick and breathe control.

Swim Development: (AGES 5 & up)
"Learn to Swim Levels 1-4 " development series begins with the foundation of swim/water skills and ends with the child developing into a proficient swimmer; encompassing water safety and proper stroke technique with endurance of: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, dives, etc.
